Error line number not showing

I am using SQLDbx 3.47 Personal on Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) to connect to SQL Server.

I noticed that when creating/altering a stored procedure or running an sql script with an error, the line number of the error is often not displayed. The same script run on Windows XP Professional (32bit) seems to work fine. When the line number is not shown, double clicking on the red line does not place the cursor at the error (presumably because it does not know where it is)

Regards,
Russell.

Re: Error line number not showing

This issue was introduced in one of the previous releases.
It will be fixed (again) in a next release.

Re: Error line number not showing

I am currenlty working on a single SQL statement over 1000 lines long, when (if ;-) ) I get and error is there any way to know the line number?

Re: Error line number not showing

In the case of single statement Sql Server does not return error line information, so it is not possible to display it
