tnsnames.ora

I'm having some problems trying to figure out where tnsnames.ora needs to be for sqldbx. I got a tnsnames.ora (which I grabbed from one of our oracle servers) and I've placed it in C:oraclein
etworkadmin    nsnames.ora as i have added C:oraclein as the home dir under oracle. But sqldbx fails to find it.

A pretty novice question.. but perhaps you could be allowed to select a location in the client where this file could be found in the SqlDbx Server Login dialog?

I know I'd appreciate it.

Re: tnsnames.ora

Here's what you can do. Start Sqldbx with command line switch -l.
In login dialog select desired Oracle home and click "...".
Exit SqlDbx. There should be a file created in a same directory named SqlDbx.exe.log.
Take a look at the end of this file, it will have some information about how SqlDbx was
looking for TNSNAMES.ORA.
Also make sure that your c:oraclein directory has oracle client files in it.
