Thanks, I will search for the instruction to update those
I use an Oracle 10.2 DB with a "Oracle server" OCI connection
I find very usefull to have the number of records displayed next to each table name
How come when purging a table or importing new records this counter is never updated even if I restart SqlDbx?
Is there a function to refresh them?
Thanks
I quickly uninstalled the 3.54 and went back to the 3.48 after discovering this:
When exporting table to file as inserts, the 3.54 transform the decimal point to the regional settings of the computer, that is a comma "," in France
As a result,
when running the insert script I got thousands of error messages stating the number of insert values are less than the columns specified in the queries.
This is caused by the fact that the "," is considered as value separator instead of a decimal point.
I went back to the 3.48 where the decimal point is maintained all the way with no relation to the regional settings
Otherwise, is there a possibility to run multiple scripts as a batch?
I use a lot SqlDbx to export tables into files as inserts and re-insert the data into another base
Usually the db hold between 150 and 225 tables
It would be great to have the possibility to:
> either export multiple tables into one single file
> or ask SqlDbX to execute multiple scripts as a batch
Many thanks
That would be a great feature to add
Thank you for the reply
I use a lot the export feature to export table contents as insert scripts. I get one file per table.
Is there a way to get all tables exported into one single file?
I use this feature to re-inject data into another base
Thanks a lot
when importing from an Excel worksheet, it generates Inserts for the first worksheet column only!
=> I went back to 3.48
as I run more and more complex queries, I find difficult to edit the query without word-wrap ability
I end-up using a text editor (like TextPad or PSPad) to create/correct my queries and copy/paste into SQLDBX
This little feature would bring a lot of comfort
Thanks,
FredL
