SQL Anywhere 9 - ODBC

HI i'm connecting on an odbc source for sql anywhere 9 ( sybase ). But i can't use any scripting option like generate create, ... It's gives an error like 'ODBC doesn't support ... Any ideas ?

Currently connection through ODBC does not try to figure out
what kind of datasource it's connected to and ODBC does not
provide standard way or accessing a lot of. That is why ODBC
functionality is limited.
This will change in one of the future releases.
