OK, this is a story - I never close script tabls and always use "Connect" option from the Connection menu when I open SqlDbx.
As soon as password changes I'm updating the connection info.
However, when you click "Connect" on the opened script tab, server will refuse the connection due to the invalid password even if connection info itself is updated.
So would you need to save data from the current script tab to somewhere outside, close this script tab, connect to the server using Quick Connect and then bring saved data back to the newly opened script tab.
Why "Connect" option from the Connection menu is still using the old passwords? It looks like a bug...

There's absolutely no reason to do what you doing.
Just select "Connect as Different User" from Connection menu option either from menu or toolbar and enter new password.

Thanks, I will
But it still does not answer the question, why "Connect" option from the Connection menu is using the old passwords.
