How do I manage the database connection list?

I have hundreds of connections and I need to prune old ones that are no longer valid, how can I do that? All I can do is add/edit what is already there.

Select File->Explore Server or click on Server Explorer toolbar button
Right click on connection you want to remove.
Select Unregister Server
